Join us for an exciting adventure in the Pacific Northwest, where we will explore and photograph some of the most beautiful waterfalls and lakes in Oregon and Washington. 

The Pacific Northwest is famous for its stunning waterfalls and picturesque lakes. Its mountainous landscape provides the ideal environment for breathtaking natural scenery, making it a paradise for landscape photographers. 

Your Workshop Guide


This 6-day, 5-night workshop provides an amazing experience as we hike along winding trails, through dense forests, and over a few rocky areas to reach these magnificent locations.

Be sure to bring your hiking boots, camera, creative spirit, and sense of adventure, as we plan to explore two or more waterfalls or lakes each day. 

The cost of the workshop is $3,750, with a $200 discount available for PTN members. This fee includes individual room lodging, meals, park fees, and plenty of smiles!

Pricing (all prices are per person)

  • $3,750 - THE WORKSHOP INCLUDES - 6 DAYS AND 5 NIGHTS WITH INDIVIDUAL ROOMS, PARK FEES, AND ALL MEALS ARE INCLUDED.

  • THE WORKSHOP ENDS AT 11 AM ON JUNE 5TH.

Lodging

  • Each workshop participant has their own individual room, each night.

Payment Terms

  • To secure your spot in this workshop, a (non-REFUNDABLE) deposit of $500 is required, with the remaining balance due by March 31, 2026.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • cancellations made before 90 days will receive a full refund (MINUS THE $500 DEPOSIT).

  • cancellations within 90 days of the workshop are non-refundable. However, if we are able to fill the vacancy, the participant will receive a full refund minus the $500 deposit.

  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

  • All standard terms and conditions apply.

What is Included:

  • Individual rooms, each night.

  • All meals, water, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks will be provided during the workshop.

  • All park entrance fees.

  • Participants will receive photographic guidance and instruction from a professional photographer.

  • Expect camaraderie, adventure, stunning scenery, and an enjoyable experience!

Not Included:

  • Travel to and from the workshop meeting place 

  • Rental car

  • Air travel and unscheduled airport transfers 

  • Passport and visa fees (if applicable)

  • Any meals or accommodations before or after the workshop dates

  • Items of a personal nature

  • Alcoholic beverages

  • Trip insurance

  • Anything else not explicitly listed as included

Transportation:

  • The workshop will start and end in the columbia gulch (about 45 minutes from Portland, oR).

  • the closest airport is Portland International Airport (PDX).

  • participants will need to drive their own vehicles or carpool with others.

  • a standard a standard mid-size rental car will work fine. No need for a high clearance or 4x4.

  • The weather in the Pacific Northwest can be unpredictable. If a weather situation occurs which affects our ability to access some locations, we may need to alter some or all of our published itinerary.

Airport/Car Rentals

Physical Difficulty (Moderate to Cahallenging)

  • Participants should be in good physical health and sure-footed. If you have any concerns about the difficulty, please contact me so we can discuss it in greater detail.

  • hiking distance - several OF THE LOCATIONS ARE A SHORT WALK FROM THE PARKING AREA. HOWEVER, other LOCATIONS REQUIRE hiking 1-3 MILES (ROUND TRIP).

  • Hiking difficulty: Some locations will require scrambling and/or level 3 hiking (which involves using hands, knees, or sliding on your butt).

  • One optional location may be considered stressful and involves a round trip of about a mile, with a very steep downhill followed by an uphill hike. We will visit this magnificent waterfall only if everyone in the group chooses to go.

  • We will send you a detailed information document 60 days before your workshop. This document will include specifics of where and when to meet, gear, clothing recommendations, and more.
