2019 Sprinter - 170 3500

Dual Rear Wheels High Roof 6-Cylinder Diesel (19.6 mpg average highway performance)

I am selling my 2019 sprinter 170 - 3500 High Roof 6 Cylinder Diesel dually conversion van with 31,790 miles purchased in summer 2020.

The van is perfect for two people with a nice-sized galley, a couch/love seat, queen-sized bed, restroom, 2 closets, 2 ceiling fans, and plenty of storage. It is self-sufficient for boon-docking with its energy supply. It is in perfect working order, has a clear title, has never been wrecked, smoked, or cooked in (except using the Microwave), and is ready to hit the high country. The schedule A service has been done at my local Mercedes dealer. Mercedes will have all service & maintenance records in their system. The vehicle has a Mercedes 5-year, 100,000-mile transferable warranty, which expires in May 2025.

The van has excellent insulation and noise-damping material, which makes it energy efficient and has a soft ride. The entire van (roof/walls and headliner) was covered with Thinsulate thermal insulation and Fatmat sound deadener and sprayed with lizard skin ceramic insulation, including roof and sidewall rafters. The sound-dreading material, attention to detail, rafters, and dual rear wheels help to make for a nice, quiet ride.

See more details below pictures

Galley

The galley has a spacious 58" x 22" countertop, Ruvati 15 x 15 Topmount Sink, Isotherm Cruise 130 Elegance 4.6 cubic ft refrigerator (with intelligent energy controller), GE microwave, 3 sliding drawers, and a pantry.

Bedroom

The bed sleeps east/west and is 77" long, thanks to the extra 8" length with the FlareSpace Flare extenders. The mattress is a comfortable Lucid 8" foam bed that measures 58" x 69". The bedroom includes a Fantastic 10-speed with reversible pull-in or push-out airflow with CRL Half-sliders windows on both sides. There is a nice storage area on the driver's side of the bedroom (for pillows, blankets, towels, and window coverings).

Couch / Love Seat

The van includes a comfortable 48" couch/loveseat with 5" foam and a great outside view when the sliding door is open. It is perfect for relaxing, working, eating, and watching videos and can be used as a place to sleep in a pinch.

Desk/Table

Included is a Lagun swivel desk/table stand and table top.

Restroom

The modest restroom includes a Thetford C223-CS cassette toilet. The cassette toilet directly connects to the van freshwater tank, has an electric flush system, and holds up to 4.75 gallons of waste tank capacity. I went with the cassette toilet system to avoid the need for a separate black water tank/system, and after spending time in an RV park watching rig after rig after rig and spending time at the sewage dump, I am so glad I did. This system is so easy to work with. Simply remove the cassette, dump the waste, wash out the cassette, return the cassette, and go.

Storage

The van has plenty of storage space with two separate closets. One is a hanging closet (17" wide), and the other has four drawers that are 24" wide and 16" -22" deep. There is also storage under both closets (for shoes, bags, and stuff), storage over the driver-side bedroom area, and a large storage area under the couch/love seat.

Energy

The van has 200 AH LiTime lithium battery powered by 1) a REDARC BCDC1250D directly from the sprinter alternator, 2) two Zamp 100-watt solar panels, and 3) a/or 30-amp shore power hookup. Three 110-volt AC outlets are inside the van, running off a Magnum 2,000-watt inverter/charger with 4 USB high amp chargers.

Heater

The heat comes from an Espar D4R (the big one) 12v diesel heater with a built-in high-altitude sensor and automatic thermostat. Set the temperature to 70 degrees and sleep in your underwear. I recently (last week or so) did the maintenance on the heater to replace the glow pin screen and integrated fuel filter.

Water

20-gallon gravity-fill water tank with a dual filter system. It also includes a tank capacity gauge and a spray shower spout.

Windows/Vent

Includes two AMA screened half slider windows in the sliding door and driver side front window. The rear panels include FlareSapce extenders with CRL Half-sliders on both sides. The van has two ceiling fans which do a great job of ventilation. The front of the van includes a Maxxair 7500 fan with a rain sensor. The bedroom includes a Fantastic 10 speed reversible with greater airflow than the Maxxair. Both fans are reversible with remotes.

Window coverings

A complete set of window coverings from Quest Overland (best in the business) provides the ultimate privacy and comfort in your Sprinter - including coverings for the front windshield, both cabin windows, passenger side crew window, driver side crew window, CRL Half-sliders in Flarespace extenders, and rear cargo windows.

Garage

The spacious garage is 53" x 33" x 26" and can hold up to 6 storage bins with 2 folding chairs and a table.

Upgrade suspension

Upgraded Stage 4 suspension package from Van Compass. Includes Bilstein B6 Camper van tune front struts, front Sumo Springs, Falcon 2.1 monotube shocks, and rear Sumo springs.

Sprinter vans require service every 20,000 miles (schedule A @ 20K and schedule B @ 40K). I did the schedule A service around 20K. The van only has around 30K miles, but the service light shows time for schedule B because of the time between services (not miles). Worth noting.
